Anime Review: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Hey Mikenter here! Another anime review, this time of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

This anime is over the top, cray, and I love it. This mecha anime starts a couple of guys who live underground who long for this fabled sky. When the find it they learn that humans are not allowed to live on the surface and are killed on site. They decide from there to lead a revolution to take down their oppressors.

    I watched a couple of episodes with my friend who loves this. This anime is ridiculously over the top sometimes haha.

    TTGL is the most recent anime I've seen & actually enjoyed all the way through. I'm busy, so if I don't like something within one or two episodes, I drop it. I watched TTGL as it was fansubbed too, & eagerly awaited it every week. I wish Panty & Stocking didn't suck so bad, because Gainex is quite a good studio.

    It'd always better to realize you don't quite like something before you get to far in and then start flaming because it wasted your time. I don't drop anime but I don't watch anime I don't like. I just inherently know if I will dislike something to the point it is unenjoyable.
